Oklahoma Climate Survey / Oklahoma Mesonet

The Oklahoma Mesonet is Oklahoma's weather network which is operated jointly the University of Oklahoma (OU) and Oklahoma State University (OSU). The Mesonet operates 120 weather stations across the state - at least one in every county - and serves as a weather information link between the public and various organizations and agencies. The Oklahoma Climatological Survey was established by the State Legislature in 1980 to provide climatological services to the people of Oklahoma. The Survey maintains an extensive array of climatological information, operates the Oklahoma Mesonet, and hosts a wide variety of educational outreach and scientific research projects.
